Petersen Zagaze

Petersen Zagaze is a Zambian musician and songwriter known for his unique fusion of Afro-pop, dancehall, and reggae music.Born as Lawrence Zambia in Lusaka, Zambia on May 27, 1986, Petersen Zagaze developed a passion for music at a young age. Inspired by his father, who was a musician, he began singing and writing his ownsongs in his teenage years. He gained recognition in the Zambian music industry in the early 2000s and released his debut album titled “Mukalibe Kuonapo” in 2004.

Petersen Zagaze’s music often incorporates catchy melodies, rhythms, and thought-provoking lyrics. He addresses various socio-political and personal issues in his songs, reflecting on love, life struggles, and societal challenges.
