Mwila Musonda, professionally known as Slap Dee, is a well-known Award winning Zambian Rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur born on 27 April 1987. He entered the music scene in the early 2000s and got very popular for Nyanja lyrics mixed with a bit of English. He has won multiple awards since his Debut in 2006. Slap Dee has released a series of successful albums, such as “Black na White,” “The Business,” and “BW2,” which have given him massive street recognition and award nominations. He has collaborated with multiple local and international musicians, and his performances have graced many music festivals and concerts throughout Africa. Slap Dee is also an entrepreneur who runs a clothing line and record label named XYZ Entertainment, which has played a crucial role in fostering and promoting emerging talent in Zambia’s music industry.
